What is it?

Lagertha is an End-to-End encryption solution. This means it allows for encrypting information directly on the client device, ensuring that it transits and is stored in a completely secure manner.

Lagertha is a two-part solution:

• An API that manages the encryption keys (sentinels) and administers access rights to these keys.
• A client, technology-agnostic, that encrypts data by using the API to obtain and generate encryption keys.

Lagertha is not a secure information storage solution; you always retain control over the hosting and storage of the encrypted data. It effectively manages encryption keys while leaving users free to store the already encrypted data as they see fit.
